‘Purity’ Season 2 Confirmed Yet Before The Premiere
“Purity” is a limited drama series based on the eponymous best-selling novel Jonathan Franzen, which is scheduled to be released in 2017, on Showtime. The TV series is created by world renown actor Daniel Craig, who is also starring and serves as executive producer of the drama. “Purity” will air in two chapters over the course of two years. Each season will consist of ten episodes, whereas a second season has already been confirmed, due to a 20-episode order by Showtime. The Showtime’s new drama will be written and directed by Todd Field, who also will act as executive producer together with Jonathan Franzen.
Inspired by a best-selling novel, a television adaptation will depict the complicated story of a heroine named Pip Tyler. A young woman whose real name is Purity is trying to find out who she are, pay the debt for education, improve a relationship with his mother (who decided to live as a recluse), and, finally, to find out who is actually her father, and, eventually whether she deserves a normal life. The events take place in the United States, Germany and Bolivia. According to the official description, “Purity” is a grand story of youthful idealism, extreme fidelity, and murder.
