“Dig” is an action/adventure TV drama that debuted on on March 5, 2015, on USA Network. The TV series follows the investigation of the murder of a young archeologist woman, initiated by an FBI agent, which leads him to the conspiracy which was kept in secret for over two thousand years. Tim Kring is the series’ creator and executive producer.

“Dig” TV Series Brief Overview

The storyline of the TV series revolves around Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs), an FBI special agent, who was appointed to investigate a mysterious murder of a young American woman in Jerusalem. During the investigation, Peter stumbles upon the international conspiracy, that hides a secret which is able to change the contemporary look on the common history.

Season 2 Release Date

The first season of the “Dig” TV series consisting of ten episodes concluded on May 7, 2015. Unfortunately, USA Network decided to cancel “Dig” after one season due to the low ratings.
