Stranger Things Season 1 Recap

Stranger things are happening in a small Indiana town in 1983. A story which begins with the sudden vanishing of a young boy turns into an awful reality. Initially, nobody considers this case as something extraordinary. A 12-year-old Will Byers is disappearing after his meeting with best friends on the way towards home. Of course, his mother goes to the police, in order to initiate an investigation. Local sheriff Jim Hopper begins to find out what happened. Simultaneously, Will’s best friends Dustin, Mike, and Lucas begin their own investigation. The boys stumble upon a strange young girl which is calling herself “011” due a tattoo on her arm. The girl is more than strange, taking into account that she is able to move objects and perform other supernatural tricks. Furthermore, she claims that she knows the place where Will is trying to hide himself from bad guys. The investigation is complicated by the fact that the boy’s corpse was finally found in the nearby lake. But his mother is refusing to admit her son’s decease claiming that he is contacting with her. Eventually, both investigations that have been initiated by the sheriff and the boys lead them to the secret governmental organization, and this allows them to unveil something truly sinister.
