Currently, according to IMDB, “Mr. Robot” has a score of 8.8 out of 10 based on over 163,200 user votes, over 340 reviews from viewers, and over 50 reviews from critics. At the same time, according to Rotten Tomatoes, the second season of the drama series has an average score of 8.2 out of 10 and a 96% approval rating (with a 95% average episode score) based on 32 reviews from critics, whereas the viewers have rated the second series of the psychological thriller at 4.5 out of 5 with a 89% approval rating based on over 1,360 user votes. Meanwhile, according to Metacritic, the second season of “Mr. Robot” has a score of 81 out of 100 based on 28 reviews from critics, while the viewers have rated the second series of the drama at 8.1 out of 10 based on 124 user ratings.
The premiere of Season 2 has drawn 1.040 million viewers (-40.64% compared to previous season premiere) with a 0.43 demo rating (-6.52%) among adults (18-49). For comparisons, the first season of “Mr. Robot” averaged a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.39 million viewers.
“Mr. Robot” reveals the story of a young programmer named Elliot, who was recruited by a mysterious leader of an underground hacker group fsociety. The TV series is created by Sam Esmail, who also serves as executive producer.
