The TV series that takes place during the reign of King Richard follows the wanderings of a courageous knight named Galavant, who struggles to retrieve his love. The TV series is created by Dan Fogelman, who also serves as executive producer of the show.

“Galavant” TV Series Summary
This charming musical comedy unveils to the viewers the story of a dashing knight named Galavant, who went on a journey in order to retrieve the love of his life named Madalena, which was kidnapped by an evil king Richard. During his journey he faces with numerous barriers on his way. However, he is able to cope with any troubles thanks to his devoted squire Sid, as well as Princess Isabella, who is assisting Galavant in his wanderings.
However, already in a second series, after finding out the truth about his beloved Madalena, Galavant is going to another journey to find Isabella.
About Season 3
UPDATE (May 13, 2016): Just a few hours ago, ABC has announced a bad news. The fascinating musical comedy “Galavant” won’t return for a third season. Most likely, the decision was made due to gradually decreasing TV ratings, taking into account that the Pilot drew 7.42 million viewers, a premiere of the second season has drawn just 3.20 million viewers, whereas a finale of the second series has attracted merely 2.15 million viewers. Anyhow, “Galavant” is being cancelled without any chances for Season 3, unfortunately.
“Galavant” season 2 kicked off on January 3, 2016, and its debut drew 3.22 million viewers, besides, a second series was praised by critics, and has received universal acclaim by the audience. At the moment, ABC hasn’t yet announced their plans concerning the renewal or cancellation of their television musical comedy. However, most likely, “Galavant” season 3 would take place.
