The first season of a Canadian teen drama series “Backstage” kicked off on March 18, 2016, on Family Channel in Canada. The show’s U.S. premiere took place on March 25, on Disney Channel. On May 10, 2016, DHX Media jointly with Fresh TV announced a 30-episode second season pick up of “Backstage.”
